About the writer

While being merely on the cusp of 18, I seem closer to that of 80 if you were to base my age on the pop culture I indulge in. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and so has writing. This blog is a modpodge of my thoughts and opinions on the greatest music society has ever offered [in my completely biased yet humble opinion].

I hope to bring a new spin to the discussion of this music: through a somewhat modern, inclusive lens. Instead of just talking about the voice behind the music, I want to discuss the women behind the men, the social undercurrent some of these songs were created under, and most importantly I want to highlight how progressive rock music was at some points in it's history.
